Leading up to his role as the Head of Private Cloud Enablement at Wells Fargo, Glenn has gained significant experience in the area of Cloud Computing which began with his role as the first of four software engineers hired at LoudCloud to create Opsware. Most recently Glenn was the Director of Cloud Platform Engineering at Netflix and later headed the solution architecture function for HP Cloud Services. Along the way, Glenn has been listed on several patents related to cloud computing and participated in the formation of the Oasis DCML standard – an early attempt to standardize on how to describe a data center environment for the purposes of what has become known as cloud computing. Glenn began his career as a math programmer at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratories and has held engineering and leadership roles for several companies including @Home Network, Bank of America, and Smart Grid provider Silver Spring Networks.
Glenn received his BBA from University of New Mexico where he was an NCAA Div 1 student-athlete and has completed graduate work from the University of California Berkeley while working at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory before departing to join @Home Network as an early employee.
