Ali Fenn is Sr. Director, Advanced Storage at Seagate, where she leads business development and product management for new platform solutions, open source engagement, and software innovation.   Ali’s career includes 15 years in Business Development, Strategy, and Sales leadership roles across the enterprise software, infrastructure, and SaaS application market segments.  Most recently Fenn founded and led the consulting firm, York Street Strategy, which helped to fund, launch and build 8 venture-backed start-ups in Silicon Valley.  Prior roles and experience include: leading BD and Alliances for Wyse Technology (acquired by Dell) and leading BD for 2 business units at BEA Systems (acquired by Oracle), where she also launched the Company’s open source initiatives and Linux program.  Early in her career, Fenn was a technology investment banker at Montgomery Securities, where she helped raise over $1 billion for a breadth of hardware and software companies.  She is also a former member of the U.S. Ski Team.
